THE STORY OF DECO HEART
Deco Heart is a Dutch-oriented company with a passion for home decoration and accessories. We arose from the desire to enrich consumers' everyday lives and are inspired by artisans who focus on details, original and unique designs and care.
Our motto "Art from the heart" explains that our products are made with heart and soul by a craftsman. Because the products are handmade, each product is unique.
In addition, sustainability is an important part of our company. By using the high-quality Mango and Acacia wood, we leave tropical rainforests untouched and the products have a long lifespan.
Our wood also has the FSC quality mark, which means that for every tree that is felled for us, a new tree is planted.

Furthermore, the combination of culture is special in the company. Mixing 2 cultures ensures a beautiful design and good quality through advanced production techniques. India is always known for its handmade products and the Netherlands for its beautiful architecture and decorations. Our two founders Parth (India) and Jaimy (Netherlands) ensure this interaction of culture.

THE EMERGENCE
At the end of 2019, we (Parth Goel and Jaimy Polhuis, the two founders and owners of Deco Heart) realized that many products are just a product today. There is nothing special behind it and people don't get to know the full story. We felt that this had to change. A product must be a piece of art: special, beautiful and with a story. In addition, a customer must have access to all information about the production.
We wanted to spread this thought, and what better way than through a product that almost anyone can buy and use at home! The result was the creation of Deco Heart and the set of Azuren products, launched in September 2020.
The three most important aspects of Deco Heart can be found in the products: transparency, quality and design. We believe in transparency. Customers must have all information about our products available. Quality means that the products meet the good guidelines of the factory. And our design is minimalist and simple.
HANDMADE PRODUCTS
All products are handmade with perfection by the masters. We at Deco Heart believe in making the most of our resources, and that it is fair to say that a craftsman does not make a product, but a piece of art.
The craftsmen are real masters and very flexible in production, so variation in products is no problem at all! In addition, handmade work has a much nicer appearance than products made by machines.
ETHICALLY RESPONSIBLE

VALUE AND INSPIRATION
We want to add value to our products by creating a story behind the products.
Firstly, the design of our product is based on the Dutch culture, namely the Delft blue tableware (= the inspiration), and the products will match with many types of interior.
Delft blue is used as a term for the pottery with the blue decoration. It dates back to the 17th century and was introduced as a "cheap" replacement for Chinese porcelain. Yet in the Netherlands it was still something that was mainly bought by the wealthy people.
In the beginning, mainly Eastern decorations were applied to the pottery. Later, however, the images became Dutch in nature and it became part of Dutch culture (source: wikipedia.nl).
Our design does not show any images as we have put our own spin on it to ensure that the products will fit almost any interior. The emphasis is still on the blue and white, but the black pattern breaks the design a bit and gives the products an original look.
Second, we care about the environment when creating our products by taking it into account when choosing our material and during production. All products are handmade, so no large polluting machines are used.
